The Election of 2016
Trump VS Clinton
I’m supposed to do a four paragraph essay about the election in this year. But I didn’t really pay attention or watch the three debates; however I did see the affects it did. I don’t why people threw big traumas about the future president because they (Trump/Clinton) will be president no matter what. As they advertising for president, did made a good impression, no. No, they are as bad and good as each other, well that what I think, but that only my opinion.
First thing first, I notice and heard that colleges were first walking out of class at 12 or 1 p.m. and marching to the Los Angeles Police Department while protesting that Trump won’t be accepted as their president. I thing is that it pretty dumb that students are risking and paying classes that they weren’t attending at that moment. Days after high schools around here and there were also walking that whole week. The first attempt was somewhat successful and failure because one school start the walk out, then went from school to school, hoping that, that school would join them in the walk or march down to Los Angeles Department and have a voice that will make them change their mind about letting Trump be president. Luckily and sadly either way, my school didn’t get the chance to walk out because word got out so our staff acted on it and put the school and after school on locked down. The sad thing was that our own administers don’t trust us to make the right decision because pretty sure we could have been smart about and not do anything or go with our belief.
The walk outs happen kinda for a week and the second thing I know about the effects were that everywhere I went everyone was talking about it non-stop. For all my six period classes for a week every teacher or student would bring the subject up. “Are we gonna get deported” “why are people not voting for Clinton” “Donald Trump all the way” “Can Trump do this and this”. I got so annoyed that after every talk in every class a students would still ask about deportation or America burning up. I know both candidates aren’t the best, but apparently are the last two so we all just have an open mind and the four next years won’t be that bad. I truly believe that the United States should give Clinton a chance, like why not.
Why not; why shouldn’t we all give a female a chance, it hasn’t ever happen before, and we don’t know what could happen: the world at peace or war, nobody knows. Most candidates make unrealistic promise to buy a vote, but sooner or later that they don’t fulfill on what they promised. Trump and Clinton had made many promises and we don know if they’ll fulfill them all. For what I‘ve heard Trump is racist, feminist, misogynist, sexualism, and albinism; and Clinton I don’t really know, but it got something with emails and Bernie. With all the bad stuff Trump has he still got more votes and Clinton exposes for one thing and loses thee whole election. This election got to many people, but what there to do, no one knows; this election of 2016 really change the United States.
